"I was lucky enough to send my three-month-old here for a few weeks. As a first-time parent, I did my research but was still naturally nervous about how my baby would do in any daycare environment. However, with Kid's Cottage, it turned out to be the easiest transition for us yet! I would visit my little one once a day (albeit not always at the same time of day) to take a break from work and give her one of her feedings. From day one, I was comforted to find her smiling or even laughing with her caretakers when I walked in. (She still barely even laughs for my husband and me!) In addition, the staff was always very friendly yet professional. I would recommend this daycare to anyone considering it. "I just wanted to thank Ms. Katy Hodges and Ashley Alford Esmacher for allowing Braeden to visit the baby chick....he talked about the whole time! "Both of my kids attended Kids Cottage. My oldest started when he was 4 & my youngest when she was an infant. When we moved to King George I didn’t know anyone in childcare. The staff at the Kids Cottage became like family. They informed me of everything from the good days to the bad. Honestly, they spoiled my kids and I could tell that they spoiled them all. Ms. April will always hold a special place in my heart as she worked her magic on my son, who was going through some jealousy issues with our youngest when she was born. I spoke with Ashley (owner) about enrollment and told her about my situation she instantly took control and make our transition easy and stress free. Ms. Penny was our first teacher and she knew how unsure and nervous I was leaving my son. She communicated with me daily and sent pictures to ease my nerves. Communication was a key thing for me. I wanted to know if anything happened at school no matter how big or small. The teachers kept me informed and I was able to watch the videos upon request (sometimes it took a day or two depending on Ashley's schedule- however if it was not right Ashley was in contact with me by phone letting me know when) As my son progressed though the different classes it was a little difficult when there was teacher turn over, however the right teacher was always found to make the class the best it could be. My son learned so much here, always had fun with his friends. I felt good dropping him off knowing my baby was loved and in good hands." ~ ML |
