Daily Schedule for Toddlers (16 Months-23 Months)

6:00-7:45          Children arrival (Staff will greet each child by name.)

                          Free Play 

7:45-8:00          Transition (Children will clean up, diapering and wash hands) Story or

                           song if time permits              

8:00-8:30          Breakfast (Children may leave table when finished, wash hands and engage in

                           quiet activities such as reading books, quiet table toys, etc.)

8:45-9:00          Circle Time (Good morning, songs & theme related story)

9:00-9:30          Free Play

9:30-10:00        Art Activity (Theme related)

                         Clean up, Diapering, Wash Hands

10:00-10:15        Snack     

10:15-10:45        Outdoor/Gross Motor Skill Practice

10:45-11:45        Learning Centers/Free Play

11:00-11:15         Diapering, wash hands, children get ready for lunch.

11:15-12:00        Lunch

12:00-2:00       Diapering & Nap

2:00-2:15         Children wake up, diapering and wash hands.

2:15-2:30          Afternoon snack

2:30-3:15          Outdoor/Gross Motor Skills Practice

3:15-3:45          Literacy Circle Time (ABC songs, stories, finger plays)

3:45-5:30         Free play (All learning centers will be open) Diapering as needed.

5:30-6:00        Children will engage in quiet activities while parents are picking up. (Ex. 

                       reading, quiet table toys, puzzles)

*Diaper changes will occur every two hours or as needed unless otherwise specified by parent.
